Nebraska Unemployment Benefits

Nebraska Unemployment Benefits and Rules can be found in detail on the Nebraska Workforce Development website.  However, included in this article are a few of the basic rules and information about receiving Nebraska unemployment benefits.

The purpose of unemployment insurance benefits is to help those who have lost their job through no fault of their own and to help new residents who have moved to Nebraska from other states and have not found work.  If you have recently moved to Nebraska from another state and are already drawing unemployment from that state, you cannot receive unemployment insurance benefits from Nebraska too.

The Nebraska unemployment benefits and rules information is also available to anyone who calls the Claims Center.  The number to the center is 1-877-725-9918.
